AWD vibration

Oil dilution and leaks
Skyactiv engines are generally strong, but oil condition, service intervals, and short-trip use matter. A clean dipstick reading is only part of the story.
Infotainment, brakes, and water leaks
Reverse-camera faults, infotainment glitches, brake corrosion, seized calipers, and water ingress are all worth checking before you pay CX-5 money.

- Any coolant loss, water-pump work, thermostat work, or overheating history?
- What is the oil-change interval, and is there proof?

Discount hard or walk away if
- AWD vibration under load or at steady speed.
- Coolant residue or recent top-ups with no explanation.
- Harsh gearbox behavior on a car advertised as perfect.
- Dampness, brake corrosion, and weak service records together.
