1. Who you're buying from
beforeyoubuyauto.com is operated by Jon Nygård, [POSTAL_ADDRESS], Norway. Contact: support@beforeyoubuyauto.com.
2. What you're buying
A PDF buyer's guide for a specific used car model generation. The guide is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute it.
3. The information in the guide
We research carefully, but cars vary and we can't inspect yours. The guide helps you check more thoroughly than you would otherwise. It doesn't replace a professional inspection and doesn't guarantee any specific car is a good buy. Use your own judgement.
4. Pricing
Prices are shown on each product page in the stated currency, including any applicable VAT. The seller is currently below the Norwegian MVA registration threshold, so no MVA is added. This will change once MVA registration is required — terms will be updated at that time.
5. Payment
We use Stripe to process payments. You pay at the time of purchase.
6. Delivery
Immediately after payment, we send an email with a time-limited download link. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and then contact support@beforeyoubuyauto.com — we'll resend it.
7. Right of withdrawal (angrerett)
Norwegian consumers normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. Digital content is exempt from this right once delivery has begun, provided you consent to it and acknowledge you lose the withdrawal right — which you do at checkout. Once you click the download link, the sale is final. See our Refund Policy for exceptions.
8. Liability
We're liable for our own mistakes (for example, if we deliver the wrong file) and will fix them. We're not liable for decisions you make about any specific car based on the guide. Maximum liability is limited to the price you paid for the guide.
9. Governing law
Norwegian law. Disputes are handled by Norwegian courts. Consumers may also bring complaints to Forbrukertilsynet (forbrukertilsynet.no) or Forbrukerrådet (forbrukerradet.no).
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one live on the site on the day you buy.
